Part 1 of this piece was its existence outdoors where it existed for some time prior to the two trees being cut down. The two trees were connected by this rope and by a broken branch high above the ground. The rope, broken branch and trunks of the trees created a negative space containing only air and the threat that the broken branch would fall on me as I cut the trees down.
