A Change in the Weather
A Change in the Weather is an exhibit of white line drawings on EPDM rubber sheet material mounted to weathered wood structures or tacked directly to the wall. Archetypal graphic motifs of spirals, concentric circles, scribbles and other mark-making reflect patterns and forms in nature while representing humanity. The dark surface symbolizes an everlasting constant, regardless of our daily lives. Considering the continuity of energy through time, perhaps these drawings are like spiritual roadmaps providing navigation toward the truth of our position in the universe.
I propose to exhibit these works together and can easily provide over twenty pieces. I would also be happy to show with additional artists if that would fit better with your programming.
Please let me know of any questions or additional information you may need. Thank you for your consideration of my work.
