My sculpture, “Premonition”, is a vision of future ecological changes wrought by climate change. This “cocoon” may disintegrate as a failed mutation or it may germinate into a new, mysterious species of plant or animal. Whether it’s considered a good, bad, or neutral change in our struggle to preserve biodiversity remains to be discovered.
